How hard a circuit works each corner of the car shows up as tread temperature, and temperature is what sets pressure. GripCalc carries corner heating figures for Laguna Seca as a starting point: how much hotter each tyre runs over the session's base temperature, from the layout's mix of corners and load. What Laguna Seca asks of a tyre
Laguna Seca runs anticlockwise through dry Californian hills: the right side works hardest, the sandy soil dusts the edges of the line, and the Corkscrew drops the car blind down its famous crest. Coastal air keeps mornings cool, and grip improves markedly as the day rubbers in.
