How hard a circuit works each corner of the car shows up as tread temperature, and temperature is what sets pressure. What Thruxton asks of a tyre
Thruxton is the fastest circuit in Britain and famously the hardest on tyres: sustained near-flat curves through the village and Church put enormous energy through the tread on one of the most abrasive surfaces in UK racing.
